Completion of the Block Wall

Well, we finally finished the block wall around the pool pump. Getting the mortar just right took some trial and error, but once we figured it out, Marcia buttered it on while I set the blocks in place. In just a couple of hours we had it finished.

Who's Jumping in First?

Well, it's full and we've been running the pump since last night. Over the next week we have to brush it every day and start the chemicals back up. They also took the box away from the slurry box and it is drying there.

Hey, Fill It With Warm Water

When Marcia got home from work today, it looked like they had just started filling it within the last hour. Everything is put back together and the water is going in. Too bad it isn't warm enough to swim.

Happy Birthday, Your Pool Has Been Plastered!

Today they came and put down the plaster in our pool. They were here by 7am before Marcia left for work. In the picture, you can see the basic color. It has a layer of dust over it so you can't quite see the true color. On the side of our house is a box of sludge. We are not sure what this is. It looks like they have to come back tomorrow and finish up some of the details.

The Tile is Done

Today they came and installed the new tile. They installed the Nassau (NSBA 636) color of tile from Noble Tile. The plaster is scheduled to go on tomorrow.

Christmas Tree!!!

Marcia put up the Christmas tree yesterday. We went and did a bunch of shopping today, so I had to edit out a few things that were not wrapped yet. Still looks a little empty under there, so send us presents!!!

Answer: If you didn't get it or couldn't see it, mine is the camo one on the deer hanger. Marcia has a standard red stocking with a snowman hanger holding it up.
